HOW TO CHOOSE THE PERFECT YACHT:
To start your luxury yacht charter experience, we first gather your preferences regarding charter yacht size, number of guests, type of yacht (motor or sailing), and your desired travel style. Once we have these details, we provide a curated selection of available luxury charter yachts in Greece and worldwide that meet your specific needs. Our team will assist you every step of the way to help you choose the ideal charter yacht for your dream getaway.
BOOKING YOUR YACHT CHARTER:
After selecting the perfect charter yacht and confirming the dates and ports for embarkation and disembarkation, we will prepare a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). This agreement will be sent to you for review and signature. To secure your charter yacht, a 50% deposit of the total charter fee is required, which will be transferred to our trusted bank partners. Once the yacht owner countersigns the MOA, a copy of the agreement will be sent to you. The remaining balance, along with the Advance Provisioning Allowance (A.P.A.), VAT, and any applicable delivery or redelivery fees, will be due one month prior to the embarkation date. CHARTER TERMS & COMDITIONS FOR LUXURY YACHT CHARTERS:
What’s Included in Your Yacht Charter: The yacht charter rate covers the hire and insurance of the charter yacht, along with a fully qualified yacht crew, who are both fed and insured. Water usage and onboard laundry are also included. However, certain expenses are excluded, such as fuel for the yacht, tender, and toys, all food and beverages, communication costs, canal dues, crew gratuity, and VAT. You may also incur additional charges for berthing dues, harbor fees, canal and pilotage fees, shore power (electricity and water), foreign agent fees, passport formalities, and local taxes.
ADVANCE PROVISIONING ALLOWANCE (A.P.A)
The A.P.A. covers costs not included in the charter rate, such as fuel, food, beverages, transfers, excursions, and more. The required amount varies based on the yacht, itinerary, provisioning requests, number of passengers, and travel duration, typically ranging between 25% to 30% of the yacht charter fee. Throughout your charter, all costs will be deducted from the A.P.A., and a full account will be provided at the end. If additional funds are necessary, the captain will notify you. The final account will determine if any refund or additional payments are required. Please note that most yachts accept payments in cash only.
REPOSITIONING CHARGES:
If you request to embark or disembark from a port other than the yacht’s homeport, delivery or redelivery fees will apply based on the distance and fuel required for relocation.
VAT (Value Added Tax): According to EU regulations, yacht charter rates are subject to varying VAT depending on the country or countries visited during your charter.
GRATUITIES:
If you are satisfied with the service onboard, it is customary to leave a gratuity for the crew. The amount is at your discretion, but it typically ranges from 5% to 15% of the charter fee.
PREPARING YOUR CHARTER YACHT:
At least one month before your yacht embarkation, we will send forms requesting essential information, such as guest details, travel arrangements, and any special requests for celebrations or specific food and drink preferences. These forms help us ensure your yacht is fully prepared for your luxury experience.
YACHT ITINERARY PLANNING:
We are happy to assist with planning your yacht itinerary, recommending the best destinations based on your time and preferences. Flexibility is encouraged, as weather and other factors may influence the planned route. Any changes, except the final port, can be discussed with the captain, who has the final say on matters concerning the yacht’s safety.
YACHT CHARTER RATES:
Luxury yacht charter rates are typically quoted for weekly bookings. Many luxury charter yachts offer benefits for early bookings, repeat clients, and longer yacht charters.
WATER SPORTS & SCUBA DIVING:
The Captain and crew will guide you in the use of the yacht’s water sports equipment, though the selection may vary from what is listed in the charter yacht brochure. If you wish to operate jet skis, you may do so with care, ensuring the safety of others and in compliance with local laws. Tenders are only to be used under the supervision of experienced crew members. For scuba diving, Greece and Turkey impose strict regulations to protect underwater antiquities, requiring dives to be conducted with licensed local instructors. Depending on your itinerary, we can arrange scuba instructors and equipment from certified diving schools on various islands.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES:
We offer full concierge services to meet all your travel and personal needs, including car rentals, limousine services, helicopter transfers, hotel reservations, and more.
